Day 23 - March 14, 2010 - Coast to Coast

From the Captain: We left Sierra Blanca under a clear sky and perfect temps and finally a strong tailwind. We biked 43 miles to Van Horn in about 2 1/2 hours. Our distance today and tomorrow are limited by the distance between towns and campgrounds. Tomorrow we will only ride 35 miles abecause the day after will be a 58 mile day with 2000 feet of climbing.

It was nice getting in to Van Horn early because we ended up with two time changes today (daylight savings and Central Time Zone). We were able to get some relaxation in and attended to some minor repairs.
